  • You will now be able to use a credit card to pay at the town clerk’s office for taxes, services, fees, etc. A three-percent fee will be added to the charge. For example, if you are paying a 100.00 dollar tax bill, the charge to your card would be 103.00 dollars.

  • Property owners 65 years of age or older may be eligible for Senior Citizen Tax Exemption on their PRIMARY RESIDENCE. Senior Citizens have until March 1, 2023 to apply for such exemptions with the submission of renewal applications being required annually.     Income Limit for County purposes is $26,399.99. Higher exemption amounts with lower incomes.

    All Senior Citizen Tax Exemptions are processed at the Town level, and each town and school district have different limits on income requirements. None of the town or school district limits exceed the County limits shown above.

  • Following a public hearing and a special session of the Westford Town Board on Thursday, 12/30/21, a local law was passed to opt out of allowing retail cannabis dispensaries and on-site cannabis consumption ("cannabis cafes") in the town of Westford.

  • Westford Land Use Regulations have been added to the site.

  • Pam Dyn-Gohde will now be holding regular office hours in her role as assessor and zoning enforcement officer at the town hall on on Monday evenings from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

  • Unfortunately Westford is no longer issuing hunting and fishing licenses. The State of NY has determined that we do not issue enough of them to continue doing so. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
